Why are wedding dresses much cheaper with you?
That’s simple.., we choose to keep our own margins more modest and therefore simply sell much more. The manufacturers we like to work with are selected for their quality and for the fact that they do not impose any restrictions on us with regard to a predetermined consumer price. This is still very common in this profession.., we consciously choose not to have it imposed.
Do I also have to pay a deposit if I order a wedding dress?
Yes, if a wedding gown has to be ordered especially for you, we always ask for a deposit of 50% of the total amount of your purchase agreement.
Because all our deliveries take place according to the CBW-recognized Bridal Fashion conditions, you have a deposit guarantee and you therefore run no risks!
Do I have to pay for a dress from stock immediately?
Yes..! And we think that makes sense because you get everything home immediately. We choose to negotiate the lowest possible price for you with the manufacturers. And because we pay for those complete orders immediately.., we also get a fat discount. Nice for you.., because that makes the wedding dresses EVEN cheaper. The only condition is of course that you also pay for your dress right away.., which is fair.., because after that we can make the brides who come after you happy again (because we also pay the manufacturer neatly) So the circle is complete again, isn’t it..? If we do it this way together, there will never be a bride who unnecessarily pays way too much for her wedding dress.
What is the difference between Outlet, Bridal Shop & Showroom
There is sometimes a lack of clarity about the word ‘outlet’.., because we think it actually just means ‘residual sale from stock’. In all cases, these are new & unworn wedding dresses! In WeddingWonderland you will find an outlet department in all stores with wedding dresses up to a maximum of 499 euros! These are the last pieces of previous collections, and can no longer be reordered. So gone = gone…. These dresses go with the bride directly from stock after purchase and of course also come in a beautiful Wedding Wonderland wedding dress cover.
Because you will also find wedding dresses from 699,- & higher in our WeddingWonderland selection that are delivered directly from stock, there is sometimes some confusion about the word outlet. This collection of affordable dresses also goes with you from stock.., but are from newer collections and often even can be ordered in other sizes. However.., for repeat orders we cannot use these competitive prices or offers because we only have to have 1 single dress made. The competitive price you get in the stock collections can of course be so low, because we regularly order large numbers and divide them among the various Wedding Wonderland bridal shops. This means that the price per piece is much lower, and can save hundreds of euros to sometimes a thousand euros per dress on the consumer price.
Why do I still have to pay the seamstress costs separately?
We consciously choose to give you a very transparent price for the perfect tailoring of your wedding dress. The starting price for that is always 199,- euros for taking, explaining & adjusting the running length (simple entertainment without lace and or stones, beads). Everyone understands that there is also a revenue model in altering a wedding dress. Many of our brides come from far away.., and we don’t oblige anyone to have the dress altered in our studio, because sometimes it’s just more convenient to have it done in a studio nearby if you live in Belgium or something like that. So it would be very crazy to put that amount in the total price of the wedding dress while you are not using it!
If you think that in the average bridal shop the wedding dress is altered ‘for free’ as a service…, then you are usually wrong. The price you pay for your wedding dress there is often considerably higher than necessary and you generally do not get the accessories worth 150 euros for free when you buy such an expensive dress. A ‘free’ entertainment is therefore an illusion.., think carefully in advance what you want to spend your self-earned money on. Bye, Bye ‘free’…!
Do I have to pay for the fitting session when I come to pick out my dress?
Are you all horned!? Of course not…, haha…!
We are often asked whether you have to pay for choosing a dress. By the way, I can imagine that there are bridal houses that do it.., because even with us, a certain type of people simply do not show up on the agreed day or time. It is of course logical that a bridal shop (all bridal shops, by the way, not just us) incurs costs for the fact that you come to try on. An appointment will reserve space just for you in the busy schedule, and a stylist will be scheduled just for you that day at the time of your reservation. With things like overhead costs, marketing etc. etc. I won’t bore you too much.., but you can bet that the bridal shop where you have planned your appointment will have an expense if that particular bride does not show up… At that moment, we cannot accept another appointment from a bride who might have really wanted to…
Of course this is not about you.., then of course you understand.. 🙂
If you and we make an appointment, there will be a delicious cup of coffee or tea and sometimes there will even be a complete HighTea package ready for you and we will both be in the store where we receive you on the agreed day and time. Of course there is always a situation possible in which force majeure plays a role.., that is just bad luck for everyone.., and of course we do not charge any costs for a missed fitting session. (I’m sure you don’t 😉
We only charge a fixed rate for the extra fitting session if you come to exchange your dress outside the normal exchange period of two weeks. You can read more about that below.
Can I exchange my wedding dress?
“I decided a bit too quickly under pressure from my company, but actually liked the other model much more. Can I still exchange my wedding dress?” we sometimes hear a bride sobbing on the other end of the line…
But of course girl! If you sincerely think that the dress you brought does not really suit you.., we will make a new appointment for a fitting session. This is allowed within 365 days of purchase, and of course the dress may not have been worn and must be returned undamaged.
We will then take the full package including the accessories back, and the amount you have spent for it will be put in reserve. You then choose a new ensemble.., and the previously paid amount is completely deducted from it and you just pay any additional cost at the counter.
We charge 120 euros including VAT for a fitting session of 1.5 hours. This amount will not be charged if your new ensemble is at least that amount higher in price. Moreover, exchanging within 2 weeks of purchasing your first ensemble is free of charge!
I have changed my mind, will I get my money back?
No.., that is not possible in any CBW-recognized bridal shop.
Above, I already described that we immediately invest our sales in new stock collections in order to be able to offer the wedding dresses at razor-sharp prices. You and many other brides with you benefit from this. The personalised purchase cannot be cancelled by operation of law. The trade association has drawn up clear guidelines to protect the industry and you as a bride in particular. It clearly states what you can expect from us and what the rights and obligations are as a consumer and as a bridal shop. I saw a nice dress on your site, where can I try it on?
We have many photos on our website.., but unfortunately we can never guarantee that a specific model will be present in the store of your choice. As mentioned, we buy a lot of wedding dresses, and photograph a few to give you an impression of what you can expect in terms of quality and styles. Some competing bridal shops would have you believe that we are only selling junk because our prices are so low… We would like to show you that that is nonsense.., and that is why we regularly take pictures in our own studio. We cannot reserve dresses in our formula.., but you can always assume that we have these or at least many similar and high-quality super beautiful wedding dresses in stock. There are almost 2000 dresses in stock in our stores.., there is no way to place them online and reserve them one by one for the simple reason that a lot is sold and new dresses are added regularly… 🙂
