Only a good bridal seamstress can make your wedding dress perfectly tailored! At all Wedding Wonderland bridal shops bridal fashion seamstresses are available for you, and in Almere Stad we also have a professional sewing workshop where all wedding dresses sold in our stores can be made to fit! So you can always make an appointment in our large bridal studio in Almere!
Alteration (take in – explain and/or adjust length) is at least 249 euros, for a simple wedding dress without lace, tulle, pearls, stones, etc. and you pay at the first fitting of your wedding dress. You can make a fitting appointment for the fitting yourself at “Hét Atelier” of Wedding Wonderland (06) 2039 9961.
PLEASE NOTE: you can bring 1 extra guest during your fitting appointment
If there are more people, the fitting session often takes too long because of the many different opinions and the extra explanation that your seamstress has to give over and over again. She will not be able to return to the studio in time to make preparations for the alteration of your dress or for the preparation for the next fitting appointment. Of course, it is always possible to come and try on with a larger group, in that case we charge an amount of 120 euros per fitting session (for this you will have the fitting room and a seamstress-stylist at your disposal for 1 hour).

As soon as you have purchased your wedding dress, you can contact “The Bridal Atelier” of Wedding Wonderland by telephone (06) 2039 9961, and we will schedule a fitting date & time in consultation with you. The fitting sessions always take place in the central Wedding Wonderland bridal fashion studio at Markerkant 14-13b in Almere Stad.
Always a minimum price for basic entertainment!
The costs for altering your wedding dress are minimum 249,- euro incl. VAT . (This concerns taking in, explaining and possibly adjusting the length of a simple wedding dress without lace, tulle, pearls, stones, etc.
If you have special wishes (collars, dumbbells, extra Swarovski stones etc. etc.) or extensive entertainment, there is an additional cost that is the same in all branches. The seamstress will usually discuss these with you during the fitting session and mention them on your studio card as agreed.
Your fitting session starts about 2 months prior to your wedding
During the first fitting session, your measurements will be taken, and the wedding dress will go to the studio. After that first fitting session, we will immediately make a second appointment with you, or agree with you that you will be called in due course. During the next fitting session you can try on the wedding dress and possibly. if everything is in perfect order.
If adjustments still need to be made, (sometimes brides drop out, or gain some weight because of the tension for the big day..) the wedding dress goes back to the studio and a follow-up appointment is made. (up to max. 5 fitting sessions!).
A fitting session takes +/- 20-30 minutes
Take into account a fitting session of about 30 minutes, and make sure that the basic necessities (such as the hoop, lingerie & shoes) are ordered for you and are ready with us or that you bring them yourself.
It is essential that the necessary accessories are complete BEFORE THE START OF YOUR FITTING SESSION.., selecting accessories and supplies during the fitting session is not allowed. There is then a considerable delay because the seamstress cannot start her work. For the fitting session you can bring a MAXIMUM of 1 more person.
